1-on-1 Personal Training & Functional Nutrition Coaching

  • Work with me 1-on-1 online via Zoom or FaceTime, or in-person (for individuals willing to travel to 94158 area only).

  • Sessions are 60 minutes long.

  • Any training homework independent of training sessions is included with the purchase of regular sessions, and assigned via the TrueCoach app.

 

Independent Training Program & Functional Nutrition Coaching

  • Online Independent Customized Training Via App: Professionally periodized training program personalized to your individual goals. Allows you to workout independently on your own time, while I have full visibility to keep you accountable, address any issues, and review your form during your exercises. Guidance and support via email or in-app direct messaging.

  • Online Nutrition Coaching: Customized nutrition & lifestyle coaching that is assessed and adjusted as needed based on your goals, weekly check ins & biofeedback. We will focus on creating sustainable habit change, learning what portions your body needs, and improving your relationship with food. Functional lab work assessment included.


FAQs

How many days per week will I be expected to train?

As a client you can expect to train anywhere from 3-5 days per week depending on your current level of fitness, time availability, and fitness goal. Additional Active Recovery & Mobility Sessions on rest days are available upon request.

Are any foods ofF limits during the coaching plan?

No foods are off limits! I want all my clients to be able to maintain this as a lifestyle without restricting foods, as long term restriction is unsustainable. You’ll learn how to structure a nutritious whole foods based lifestyle that still includes the yummy “soul food” indulgences in moderation through a Flexible Dieting approach. You’ll get protein, carbohydrate, and fat targets, and coaching on how to fit in the treats that you enjoy with moderation.

What Equipment do I need to have if I am doing an at-Home Training Plan?

I will customize your training program to what equipment you have available. The more equipment you have the more options we will have with your training program, so a couple light and heavy dumbbells, as well as a few varied resistance bands are recommended to achieve an optimal result. All programs can be tailored to at-home or gym based settings.

How long are the training sessions?

Training sessions are typically 30 minutes to an hour long. Since training programs are completely customized, this will be determined based on your current level of fitness, time availability, and fitness goal.

How will my progRess be tracked?

You will be expected to submit a weekly check in if you have a body composition goal (fat loss or muscle gain). For general lifestyle or wellness goals you will not need to submit a check in.

Your fitness progress will be tracked in the TrueCoach app where you will be assigned your training program, under each exercise you will record the amount of reps done and weight lifted per each exercise. This progress will be tracked weekly, as I can see everything you complete, and you can see what you did the week prior under each exercise history so that you know what you need to achieve during each session. YOU are your only competition, as your goal is to do slightly more than you did the week prior for each session in weight, reps, or tempo.

Will I be required to track and weigh out all my food?

This will not be required, but depending on your goal it is recommended. I offer coaching based on Portion Estimation as well as Flexible Dieting. We will determine which one is better suited to your lifestyle and goals during the consultation call.

With flexible dieting you will be required to track and weigh your food in order to make sure you’re hitting your protein, carbohydrate, and fat targets. This approach is ideal for reaching specific body composition goals involving significant fat loss or muscle gain. Once you reach your goal we will transition to an intuitive eating approach to learn how to maintain your result without needing to track or weigh out your food.
